New marching camp discovered in Scotland



A new marching camp was found in Ayr, Scotland. This camp was used during the invasion of the late first century A.D.. This discovery shows that Romans opened another route down the west Scotland.
Iraia Arabaolaza, who directed the excavation said that the camp may have hosted around 600 men.
